Standalone functionality, no receiver required Control Focus/Iris on EF and Nikon lenses via their internal motors on RED Cameras Control Shutter, ISO, Focus more on RED cameras Control RTMotion lens motors The Smartknob is a standalone (no receiver required) wired lens controller for Canon EF and Nikon AF lenses attached to RED DSMC and DSMC2 cameras. Control EF/AF lenses using their internal motors with incredible precision and map RED camera commands to several built-in hot keys located along the side of the knob. The Smartknob is ergonomic and outperforms the control characteristics of standard manual follow focuses. With the addition of any Teradek MDR, the Smartknob can be used to control Teradek brushless motors for cinema level accuracy.
